The Hunnefeld Family

When Doodlekins began, none of us realized how much the families would come to mean to all of us, or the friendships that would develop.  As we watch you all grow and change over the years, we get so excited to see a new pet or new baby added to the family.  This is especially true in the case of The Hunnefelds, who are the epitomy of this surprising bond we share with our customers.

Kim has been ordering with us since 2005, when Z, Shankly, and Vida were the only kids she and her husband Joe had.  (And what kids they were!)  Then, along came...the one...the only...MYA ROSE!  She is a star, brought up in a house full of joy and laughter, with a personality that reflects the abundant love she receives.  Kim includes us in her monthly photo updates she sends her friends and family, and it has been a privelege for us to watch this very special family grow and flourish. 

We wish them continued joy and happiness in 2008, and look forward to sharing in all their adventures!  We love you, Hunnefelds, hootie hoo!

The Ricks Family

We love The Ricks.  That's just it, plain and simple.  They've been with us since the start of Doodlekins, and we've enjoyed working with them each and every time.  We've been lucky enough to watch Gene grow up and become the sweetest big brother to precious baby sister Marley, and see his hair become spikey like his dad, Mark's!  Which, by the way, was inspired by Peggy, who had requested it many years ago.  You can all thank her; it's one of our most popular styles!  (He also gets the groom's grin accessory without the nervous sweating part, and she gets custom freckles!) 

The love and happiness this family shares is evident in their smiling faces, and we wish them all the best in 2008 and beyond.  Doodlekins definitely wouldn't be the same if we didn't have The Ricks Family as part of our family!

Lora Davis & Steffen Beach

Lora Davis (as of this writing - they're getting married!) was an absolute joy to work with.  You can probably tell what a beautiful gal she is, inside and out, from her photo!  Her fiance, Steffen, and furbaby, Umi, truly complete her as you see, and they make such a sweet family.  We were concerned after seeing the photo after she had received the labels, because we didn't think their characters matched them, but, they change their hairstyles a lot, so it was fine!  Lora was so creative; we love the title "The Beach House," which is actually Steffen's last name.  We sure hope we'll see a wedding photo, and continue to work with this couple for many years to come.  We wish them a wonderful life together!

The Rickard Family!

The Rickards have been customers of ours before their sweet new daughter, Danica, came along!  Big brothers Peyton and Snoop, the dog, were their only children back then.  You might notice that Snoop's Doodlekins likeness has some special coloring to better suit him.  We were glad to do it; Snoop is one special guy, and so loved by the family.  We have enjoyed working with Traci so much over the years, she has been one of our most loyal customers.  In fact, you can thank her for the gift certificates we now offer on the site; she's the one who really made us buckle down and get them done!  We look forward to more adventures with The Rickards, and appreciate their continued business so much. It just wouldn't be the same Doodlekins without them!

The Macy Family!

This photo Kristina sent us should be on the cover of Life magazine!  Words can't describe what you see when you look at it.  In creating their labels, although we took great care to make three different shades of pink for Helena, Lucia and Elliana, we accidentally left off the last digit of their zipcode!  We shipped a new set out to them ASAP, of course.  Even though it must have been quite disappointing, Kristina treated our customer care team so nicely.  We are so grateful to Doodlekins families, like The Macys, for their warmth, kindness, generosity of spirit, AND patience and understanding!  We hope to create more labels for this beautiful family, and watch the gals grow up!

The Henderson Family!

We couldn't be more honored to produce labels for this special military family!  Heath is a Marine, and not only is he clearly proud of his adorable triplet girls, we are all so proud of HIM.  We are filled with gratitude for his sacrifices and bravery, to keep us all safe and free.  Whether you support the war or not, it's important to support the troops.  They believe in their mission, and they need to know we believe in THEM! We know they are doing incredible things to fight terrorism, and we wish them continued success, and a safe return home to their families when the time is right.  Thank you for letting us create your family labels, Hendersons, we salute you!

The Zinda Family

All of our families are special, but The Zindas are special in a unique way.  After three of their own children, they decided to adopt Delaney from China in August of 2005!  With plenty of room in their hearts for another child, they opened their home to a child in need, and were blessed with her in return.

What a delight to see this order come in, featuring baby Izzie!  Jennifer had ordered engagement and wedding labels from us in the past, so it was wonderful watching the couple become a family.
